Here's the buffed out top. You can see it's like a mirror. Beautiful wood. You get a good shot of the natural binding. It was my first and only time doing the binding this way. The results are not great, but for a first time, not bad. There's some bleed of the red into the clear edges and it's not uniformly thick on the top.
