This is a case for a balafon.The case is a flight case for a balaphone, which is an African all-wood, hand-made marimba-like instrument which is quite delicate. The case is all hand stitched, has hidden wheels, a custom contoured interior, four handles and a heavy shoulder strap and is padded inside and out. It uses struts between layers of 1/8" plywood to keep it light and strong.
