This Les Paul Started as a Faded Honey Burst. I wanted a real burst, so I reshot the burst and finished the back of the guitar as well. In the process, I added some things from RS Guitar Works: aged nickel pickup covers, light aluminum tail bar, double ring aged tuners, a premium production pot and cap kit, selector ring and tip, aged strap fasteners, truss rod cover, and an aged pickguard bracket and screw. Oh..and reflector knobs and historic pickup rings. To avoid using a flesh pink pickguard, I bought a Historic pickguard for P90s from Sweetwater and cut it to fit.

The concept of the guitar is simple. I could have painted and polished and buffed the heck out of the guitar and made it shine like a new one. That wouldn't really go with the aged rings, tuners, etc. I wanted this to look like a guitar that's been played but babied. It's got little scratches from polishing, just like you'd have over time. There are little indentations, small areas where paint is worn, metal parts have a patina instead of shine, and some oxidation.
