Almost done. Lacquer is curing/gassing out. Then I'll buff it out
and rock on. The binding and the channels they're in have been a problem.
Uneven depth and width. I pretty much had to custom make the binding
from a Stew Mac ivoroid strip about 1 inch wide and thicker than normal
binding. There were still small gaps between the body and binding after
the first coats of lacquer were applied, so what I had to do is drop
fill the seams, then use butyl-cellusolve to melt the lacquer to a
uniform depth and then scrape. The butyl-cellusolve is a great tool,
but it causes the dark edges to melt and flow over onto the binding.
