Gecko Strat Hollowcaster
Installing tuners can be a pain if the ferrules are a little too large for the holes. This happens when lacquer gets sprayed into the hole, making it smaller than it should be.
To work around this, I lightly sand the hole, place the ferrule in the hole and slightly push it in. It won't go in very far, but enough to seat it. Then I take my handy dandy Quick Grip clamp and press it in slowly. Voila!
