Here she is at birth. The previous owner parted her out. I was able to buy what was left, the body only, for $250.00. You'll notice as she came out of the FCS, she only had the Strat Style pickups. I thought that was a bit of a need for improvement. Also, all the orginal series, as you'll see in a moment, had the birdseye maple on maple necks. I wanted something a bit classier and something to set this one apart from her sisters. That's why she's got the block inlays, MP binding and pickguard, Brazilian rosewood board and real Jazzmaster pickups instead of the Strat pups. I had to find a reaI Fender Bigsby so I wouldn't have to drill holes, and I changed the trem arm on the Bigsby to a Chet Atkins style bar.
