Gecko Les Paul Set Neck
Here's a good side shot, showing the uncarved, flat top and the swamp ash below. The ash is 1 7/8, while maple cap is 11/16 of an inch thick. Overall it's 2 7/16".
Very nice end grain.
A bit blurry.Looks pretty thick now, doesn't it? That will change when the top is carved. You can kind of see the channel cut in the top there in the neck channel to help give the neck the proper angle.
