Here you can see the alignment holes where
I put a small 1/4 inch dowel in the neck and then fit the fret board on,
matching corresponding alignment holes (all marked by the black arrows)
You get a clear shot of the 4 inch tenon as it sits in
the neck slot and sticks into the pup cavity. I will cut that down, but
aout an inch thick tongue of it will remain at the bottom of the pup cavity.
You can also clearly see the end of the truss rod and the layer of wood
glued over top of it in the slot.
