Waco Walk 2000!

Lady Liberty's Advice on Conducting Your Waco Walk.

The important thing is that everyone understands that NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, can stop ANYONE from having a "Waco Walk 2000" because the 1st Amendment provides for that God given right!

However, there are some guidelines I suggest they follow:

1) Take a video camera to record the event, and in the event anyone attempts to stop you.

2) If you do not have a video recorder that has sound, besure to have a small tape recorder to record any conversations that may come about,
if someone tries to stop you or hassel you in ANY way.

3) Do NOT walk in the streets, as this can be dangerous, and then enters the authorities.

4) Do NOT block any streets, as this will stop traffic, and then enters the authorities.

5)
Do NOT block any sidewalks or walkways, as this will prevent individuals from entering and exiting buildings, and then enters the authorities. Walk in a single file, or if the width of the sidewalk or walkways will allow, you can walk two-abreast, but NO more than that.

6) ALWAYS BE PEACEFUL AND DO NOT PROVOKE ANYONE. Do NOT take ANY abuse from ANYONE.

7)
When I did a walk in October 1999 - I gave a courtesy call to the local police department, and they were very glad that I did, and after everything was over and done with, they said they would be happy to have us do a walk anytime. They also said they were glad to see us exercising our Constitutional rights, because if we don't use them, we will lose them.

 Activists Handbook-
"The articles in this handbook are republished from Activism 101 and the Freedom Writer. They tend to be amero-centric, and some of them talk specifically about countering the religious right in the US but even with these biases they are a pretty good practical introduction to being politically active."

"Some of these materials were written by other folks for a variety of organizations--labor unions, environmental groups, student organizations, businesses--but they contain good
