Rick,
I have never been an author trying to get a
manuscript published so I have never received
a rejection letter from a publisher who probably
didn't even bother to read the manuscript. But
I imagine your replies and particularly this last
one are just about the same.
You have been consistently polite in the
linguistic sense, but that is all. I cannot
even say you have been "genuinely" polite, since
that requires certain levels of acknowledgement
and engagement that you could not be credited
with.
Thus, your notes, and this one in particular
were as meaningful as the recorded meassages you
get from automatic switchboards. Lots of "pleases"
and "thank-you"s, but ultimately just a damned
tape machine.
And in a way, it scares me. That you can
walk right through the facts I presented like
the Smerick Memoes, the Feazell prediction,
the "Babies-are-being-beaten lie", the precognition
of the FBI for a fire that day... You walk right
through these facts, that I view as a sort of
seive or mesh for a living, rational mind, as if
they were not even there. In that sense, you
seem like a human ghost or apparition.... No, a
hologram like the Doctor on Voyager, only a very
early model that was unable to muster emotion
or to escape the rigid confines of its (your) programming.
I imagine that someday the FBI will have an
advanced system on-line for processing wrongful
death claims from Churches, Home-schools and other
politically incorrect institutions that were firebombed
in each years pre-budget hearing "Right-Thinking-
Enforcement" agency operations.
That website could use a nice, sterile, emotionless
visage or "hologram" to inform the next-of-kin
of the 3156 pages of forms, and 231 documents that
will be required of them to apply for compensation
under the Right-Thinking-Enforcement-Casualty Act
of 2006.
I think you would be absolutely perfect for that
role. You could breathlessly sweep through the entire
procedure with no real feeling for the crimes committed,
while forging right ahead to the parts where you present
the next of kin for the bill for expenses the FBi incurred
in interogating, torturing, killing, and then misreporting
the deaths of their kin.
"Hi. I'm Rick Ross, of Information Retrieval." "I'll
be your guide." "First of all, I must reassure you
that we have thoroughly investigated ourselves and have
found ourselves only to have a made a mistake or two, but since
that was many years ago, so it doesn't matter." "Secondly,
our
agencies are branches of your government and are wholly
subject to oversight and investigation by the officials
you elect." "As a result, the first form in our procedures
will be to fill out the "Claimant Attitude Form.""....
"You will see two choices at the bottom." The first
is that you wholly accept the righteousness of the
actions that killed your family/friends/neighborhood, and permits
you to continue your application, and the second option is to
disagree. If you check the second option, you must
be a cultist and are therefore excluded from qualification
as an applicant, are too be interogated, will require
attitude adjustment, and eventual inclusion on our targeting
lists if you do not come around..."
(If a person hits the second choice, the screen
loads images of the FBI'S "Right-Thinking-Enforcement"
museum of operations.)
Oops. There I go again getting distracted....
Don't blame me though, you know what its like when
you get into one of those automated answering systems
and none of the choices give you a living, breathing
human being.... That is what I have been dealing with
four the last few messages and my mind is wandering
and wondering if I have died and emerged into a Movie
just like Brazil only worse. In Brazil, only Harry Buttle
was "mistakenly" dispatched.
Good Bye Rick, and I hope your program permits
topological expansion into a higher implementation
that permits higher awareness.
No pretense of false thanks for anything,
Fred

: I understand that you clearly see Waco very differently than
most
: Americans and believe there is a government conspiracy to essentially
: cover up murder.
: You also disagree with any legal action that does not recognize
this
: conspiracy such as the criminal convictions of Davidians, their
: subsequent sentencing and the rejection of their appeals.
: You feel somehow that David Koresh and his followers were
unjustly
: persecuted.
: Also, that any media or person that disagrees with these
conclusions is
: wrong, blind to the "facts" or at best "ignorant"
etc.
: Please understand that I disagree with your conclusions,
don't feel your
: "facts" ultimately will stand up to objective scrutiny
and professional
: analysis and that the Danforth Investigation will probably prove
this.
: Of course I recognize that you will likely not accept anything
less than
: verification of your theories from the Danforth Investigation
or any
: other investigation.
: It is likely that as further analysis of the audio tapes
proves Mr.
: McNulty's latest conspiracy theory wrong you--will also dismiss
that
: analysis as yet another "conspiracy to suppress the truth."
Likewise,
: any results and/or reporting you don't like will be similarly
labeled.
: At my site subsection about Waco
: http://www.rickross.com/groups/waco.html I will continue to
archive
: meaningful factual information. This seems to be appreciated
by the
: majority of the public. But I understand that this subsection
will
: probably never be appreciated by the anti-government conspiracy
crowd.
: Thank you for your feedback and comments.
: It seems to me such an exchange with someone who represent
a different
: position and opinion about Waco and other issues at my site
is always
: helpful.
: It really helps me to better understand the thinking/mindset
behind some
: of the rhetoric heard in America today. In this regard our exchange
has
: been very helpful. Likewise, it has been meaningful to read
your emails
: and better understand what you consider to be the factual basis
for your
: opinions and feelings about Waco.
: Again, I am certainly open to learning more information about
the Waco
: Davidian standoff. Of course such information will have to be
carefully
: and objectively verified through a credible process that to
be accepted
: by the majority of people.
: Thanks again for your feedback.
