Transcript from an actual phone
call between FBI hostage negotiator Jim Cavanaugh and one of the
Branch Davidians small children......
(children crying .
. . rustling sound as very young child picks up the phone)
Child:
"Are you gonna come and kill me?"
Cavanaugh:
"Hello? hello? No, honey... " ( long pause then heavy
sigh ).... <said in low voice> "Nobody's gonna come
and kill you....."
Child:
"Are you gonna come in and kill me?"
Cavanaugh:
"No..." <said sternly> (silence) <then sadly>
" . . .no . . . nobody's comin'."
The children, before
our government came to help them...
Only battered shells
of the children remained....after the "rescuers"
left.....
The reason I started
making this page, is because I was just like most of you out there.
I sat in my living room watching the home of the Davidians burn
on the tv screen, and feeling complete dread... but like you probably
did, I bought what the FBI and the press was saying, hook line
and sinker. I felt bad that it came to this conclusion, but after
all... our government and the people running it are professionals...
I'm sure everything that could have been done was done.
After all its not their fault that someone inside set the fire
to commit suicide. The world is a scary place and sometimes people
are insane... especially cults! Who knows what they could be doing
to those children! Sexual orgies... chanting at midnight, maybe
even reading the Bible backwards for all we know. The word cult
makes us immediately know that these people must have been
bad. After all, why would Mike Wallace, or Dan Rather lie? Exposing
the truth is the press's job. Not ours, right?
The images slowly faded... the reporters stopped reporting,
and the misery of it all slipped from America's mind... from my
mind.. and from possibly yours. Unknowingly, officials in charge
all over this country, were all silently patting eachother on
the backs.
Time passes as time does, and its 6 yrs later. The
world wide web explodes, and here I was. I dont remember how it
happened, I dont recal the reason, but there it was. Pages and
pages all about Waco. Government documents to look over... people
who have never ever forgotten what happened... and who's goal
it is to make SURE it's never swept under the carpet like the
government thought was happening. There were people that never
stopped hunting for clues, never stopped using the legal system
to gain access to evidence the government was holding. They were
the people that were cautious, that saw the fire and what happened
as maybe something more. How incredibly right they were!
If the deaths for these people are ever truly recognized
for what they really were... murders, there should be a
national outcry from Americans. In Ruby Ridge, Idaho (my home
state) Randy Weaver lost his wife
(who at the time she was shot in the head, was holding her infant
daughter) and lost his 14yr old son from federal sniper bullets
almost a year before the Waco seige happened. Everyone claimed
there was nothing afoul. Our government officials were feeding
the press and any one that would listen, with garbage of their
innocence, while the whole time covering up their negligence.
The Waco case was no different. These were the same people running
Ruby Ridge as ran WACO!
(since then, the federal government
has been forced to pay Weaver millions of dollars in damages stemming
from it's negligence.)
Through the internet and freedom of information act,
I found out that while publicly the FBI was reprimanding and firing
their agents and officers in charge, they were privately rehiring
these people, putting IN writing, that their records would be
wiped completely clean and they were later honored
in a secret ceremony, giving agents the highest honors the FBI
has, in an undisclosed air plane hangar! Conflict of interest?

I started reading everything there was about the subject.
I read the pro-government books, I read the pro-concpiracy books
and I read the books that stayed unbiased and presented the clearest
possible view to what happened and stuck with the facts. I purchased
the movie WACO: Rules Of Engagement, and I saw for the first time,
all of the evidence before my eyes. These so called cultists,
telling what happened the day of the initial raid and the ensuing
seige... I watched the fear, confusion and pain run across some
of their faces.. the anger that they could be so badly abused.
I saw pictures and videos of the people who perished in the fire...
these werent raving mad loonies! In the 1st video, its clear that
these people were so incredibly stunned at what was happening,
it was written all over their faces!
I also saw a side of this group that the press didnt bother with.
A side of normalcy, of pride, of respect towards others, and yet
they never showed us the faces of the children ... They said they
didnt want Americans sympathizing with the sect. All those tiny
victims of our governments obvious staged act of bravado. They
went flying into those people's homes.. shooting at their children,
like Rambo out for blood.
I learned that this wasnt some space age cult, like
Applewhite and his Haley Bopp crew, and certainly FAR from Jim
Jones and that whole scene. I saw that alot of these people had
been born there, and had children themselves! Grandparents who
raised their own children there, and their grandchildren. Some
of the people had been at Mt Carmel since the 1930's and 50's.
This wasnt a bunch of people squatting on property, harassing
the locals, shooting out the streetlights, harboring fugatives,
manufacturing or doing drugs. The local sheriff, Jack Harwell
knew them and said they were never any trouble.
Believe it or not, (and there's proof to back this
up) federal agents would even stop by to target practice with
Koresh and some of the men from Mt Carmel. They would hand Koresh
their weapons and he would load them on occasion.
My journey through the internet brought more evidence
against the government than I thought possible.
Very quickly the story the government gave was sounding less and
less plausible. Now I wanted the facts. Not the cream coated version
I was forced to swallow when I was 22, but the damn TRUTH! I've
seen our government at work, and they have lied, cheated, stole...and
now murdered.
The truth has been hidden away for way too many years.
It's TIME AMERICA!
Let's get this damn thing ripped open the RIGHT way once and for
all!
As I type this, a federal judge is preparing to receive every
single scrap of evidence preserved from Waco! 6yrs later and people
are talking... information is leaking out of the FBI and soon
the rest of the divisons will crumble too.
Whats the matter with these people? They cant take responsibility
for mistakes! They wont prosecute the real criminals!
They lie and cover-up and its accepted as common practice.
Then we mutter to ourselves how at least we dont live in some
third world communist country, and
we switch stations in our brain. Next story.
Well this story IS the next
story! This story hasnt gone away because it was wrong.
The whole thing was wrong, and it should have never happened,
and it should never fade from memory again.

There were precious moments when Special Agent Robert
Gonzalez told BATF raid commander Chuck Sarabyn the element of
surprise has been lost, that the Davidians knew there was an imminant
attack and they were preparing to defend themselves... he then
yelled loudly "CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF CHUCK!"
This picture is real footage of Robert Rodriquez minutes after
leaving Mt. Carmel, where Koresh turned to him and said "ATF
and National Guard are coming... you've got to do, what you've
got to do." Rodriquez gave a report stating Koresh extended
his hand and said "Good luck, Robert." With only 15
minutes left before the raid was to begin, Robert sprinted from
Mt. Carmel and tore down the Davidians driveway to the undercover
house across the street. He dialed Chuck Sarabyn at the command
post, "Chuck, they know! They know!"
"Call the whole thing off!"
He then ran to his blazer and and barreled toward the
command center, hoping to stop the assault by collaring his superiors.
"I was upset," Rodriquez would later say, ...."because
I knew what was going to happen." When he reached the command
post, a few minutes later, it was too late: everybody had left.
The raid was already underway.
At Congressional hearings commanders first denied that
Robert Rodriquez had warned them, and said they wouldnt have proceeded
if they had known. Finally after Rodriquez filed a law suit against
the bureau, they admitted to falsifying
raid plans and about Robert Rodriquez's warning to call
off the raid.

Robert Rodriquez testifying in 1995 Congressional Hearings. With
tears in his eyes he looked over at
Commanders Chuck Sarabyn and Philip Chojnacki sitting to his left
and said,
"Those two men know what I told
them, and they knew exactly what I meant. And instead of coming
up and admitting to the American people right after the raid that
they had made a mistake, that the element of surprise had been
lost, that the agent had advised them that they knew they were
coming. Instead of doing that, they lied to the public and in
so doing, they just about destroyed a very great agency."
As soon as Rodriquez spoke those words, Sarabyn and Chojnacki
exchanged glances with eachother, then looked down. They couldnt
even look Robert in the face. WHY? Cause they were lying, and
trying to make him a scapegoat to their mess. They did
not HAVE raid plans drawn up BEFORE the raid. They manufactured
one and submitted it well after the deadly raid went forth.
After lying about Rodriquez, they tried blaming it on a low ranking
clerk, but finally admitted to a Treasury review team the truth.
What was our governments answer for these men and the
crimes they committed?
They fire them, then after both agents sued the agency,
they reinstate both their jobs with full back pay and benefits,
they pay their attornies fees, they have their disciplinary records
wiped clean, all reports and shooting reviews are wiped from the
record and sealed, never to be discussed again.
