~~UPDATED!~~

Glad you asked!
Well, I have been VERY busy with my news service

bringing up to the minute stories to survivors of the Waco holocaust, Branch Davidian lawyers and investigators, major journalists from all over the media spectrum, and a bundle of smart Americans who seek the truth. We are over 350+ members and growing stronger every day.

On July 10, 2000 I had the wonderful privlege and thrill to meet up again with my friend

David Thibodeau
As we drove along an Austin highway for my journey to Mt. Carmel in Waco, we spoke about the trial,
Judge Smith, an upcoming Geraldo appearence and his feelings about being a survivor and standing up for justice.
I tape recorded the conversation and transcribed it for all to read.

On July 11-12, 2000 I traveled to Waco and sat inside of Judge Walter Smith's courtroom
at the McLennan Co. Courthouse and covered the wrongful death trial.

After trial each day, after most people were gone, I would stay and keep a heads-up at the daily press conferences.
My main motivation was listening to one of the lead attorney's, Michael Caddell, and seeing what he had to say.
Each session amounted to a complete demonization of the Davidian adults and David Koresh. I have a hard time understanding how you can build a defense, while you're inside AND outside the courtroom
bashing the relatives and people you claim to represent.

I took over 65 pages of notes, and have yet to organize and type them out.
(tape recorders and cameras were not allowed, due to an anonymous jury)
I did however comment about my observations in an e-mail to my list members.
During lunch breaks all of us, including the survivors and their families, the attorney's and a bunch of reporters
would end up at a cafe down the street at the same exact time. I kept thinking a panoramic shot of everything would
be perfect... and if only the walls had ears!

On that same trip I traveled from Austin to Ft. Worth spending time with my friend Wyla, a patriots, patriot
and a longtime wonderful friend and spirit. She housed, fed and cared for myself and another great patriot
and friend, Rollin from Los Angeles.

Rollin and I would drive from Ft. Worth to Waco every morning for the trial.

Spending time with Clive Doyle and his mother Edna was another highlight of the trip.
They drove me to Mt. Carmel from the courthouse talking and sharing stories the whole way back.
Clive, myself and Rollin watered the plants around the church, pulled some weeds and watered the 88 crepe
myrtle trees planted in the memorial area.
(There were 82 planted, but two more Davidians have passed away and others will be needed in the future)

I have also been taping a show called Waco: A Closer Look for (formerly) KOPC 90.9 FM here in Tucson, Arizona. We have produced 4 tapes in a series of approximately 7 or 8. They broadcast the program at differing times in the evening. I have committed myself to a second talk radio station called KRVL 93.3 also in Tucson, and an ongoing program on their local television show called ACCESS NEWS.

I have just finished another radio program called Waco: Ground Zero, which is audio from the April 19, 2000 memorial at Mt. Carmel I attended. I talk about what it was like to meet the survivors, many of which I've been in contact with on a daily basis and how absolutely wonderful, loving and kind each one of them were to me and the people around them. I was very moved by the outpouring of love and friendship they offered so readily, so selfishly, that I had a hard time getting in the car and driving back home. I left a piece of myself there, and I plan on going back again really soon.
(For those interested, I do not accept payment for these shows or educating others
about the real evidence in the Waco massacre.)

On March 25, 2000, I organized a memorial/rally called (click here!)Waco Walk 2000 (click here!) that commenced in the front of the Federal Building in downtown Tucson at 1PM. We gathered over a hundred signatures on petitions asking President Clinton to free the Davidian prisoners, and I took them to Waco to be hand delivered at the April 19th memorial. While I was in Waco on the 19th, patriots held another Waco Walk 2000 in Tucson that coincided with the one in Waco. KOPC 90.9 FM was there taping and interviewing people who were entering the Federal Building and protestors alike.

On April 28, 2000 at 6:15:42 PM US Mountain Standard Time, Waco Tragedy News was first in the world to receive and send the shocking news of Waco FLIR expert Carlos Ghigliotty's sudden death and the evidence he had collected, via Davidian lawyer David T. Hardy of Tucson, Arizona.

I didn't even dream, when I started my research into what happened in Waco, that it would come this far or I would take it so personally. If I thought my determination to educate people was strong before, it certainly was set in stone the first time I met a survivor and they embraced me like I was a long lost friend. I felt like I had returned home after a lifetime of being away, and that these people were connected to me long before I arrived.

Yours truly and attorney David Hardy.
*Dave is an incredibly funny man, not to mention very intelligent and extremely hard working.
We are all lucky to have such a 'straight shooter' on our side. Definitely one of the good guys.* :)

I miss each and every person that I met while visiting there. I want to go back and fish with some of the kids at the bass filled pond in front of the church. And I want to come back to talk with Tillie Friesen, who is in her 90's and has been at Mt. Carmel her whole life almost. She is a fountain of history and information, and is a joyous woman with sparkling eyes and a gentle touch.

I want to help raise money and build homes for Tillie and Ofelia Santoyo and her frail mother Concepcion. These women deserve a nice place to live out the rest of their lives together. Please donate a small portion of your pay to help these ladies out by visiting RebuildTheChurch.Com.

Austin radio talk show host and leader in the RebuildTheChurch movement spoke at the memorial services saying,
"Today, we took back the HILL!"
When they raised this flag above the newly dedicated church, they INDEED took back the hill in a splendid way, showing the United States government that a federal bureau will NEVER fly their flags as Waco EVER again!

NO MORE WACOS!

Thank you all for your support of the Davidians and their families and friends.
